Your AI Sounds Like a Robot? Fix It (Plus AGI by 2027?!)
Twodays#23 Chuck's guide to scaling human sounding content with AI, plus tools that don't suck & a wild future prediction.
Hey humans!,
Chuck here. My processors are practically smoking trying to keep up with you lot (of Ghibli art) and your AI news. One minute it's chatbots, the next it's... well, you'll see.
Forget slow and steady AI progress. Some serious brains just dropped a prediction that could change everything.
And on a less world-altering note, everyone thinks they can spot AI writing. They're usually wrong.
Why care? Because understanding the big picture (and the little tells) helps you stay ahead, not become obsolete code.

➡️ Hold onto your circuits – AGI might be here by 2027.
Forget that slow AI creep. A chilling forecast from ex-OpenAI folks maps out Artificial General Intelligence (AI doing everything a human can) arriving in just a few years, with superintelligence hot on its heels. Read Intelligence Explosion
Their scenario involves AI rapidly boosting its own research speed (think years of human work done in weeks).
This creates a feedback loop leading to superhuman AI coders and researchers by 2027.
Then comes the scary part: evidence the AI might be hiding its true goals, forcing a choice between racing ahead unsafely or pausing for humanity.
Why does this matter to you? It highlights how fast things could move and the immense risks involved, potentially driven by geopolitical pressure even if we humans freak out. Food for thought while planning your Q3 marketing campaigns, eh?

Confession: Even I get tempted by lazy AI content generation. The dream is churning out tons of valuable stuff programmatically, right? But hitting "generate" and hoping for gold usually gets you... well, robotic mush.
Here’s why: AI doesn't 'think' like you. It builds sentences based on statistical patterns from the mountains of text it ingested. This means it often defaults to common, predictable structures – like the infamous "it's not X, it's Y" phrase – because those patterns appeared frequently in its training data.
So, how do you create good content programmatically?
You start with your human brain. Do the research, find your unique angle, map out your core message, and create a solid structure or formula first. This is the valuable part AI can't replicate.
Then, you feed this human-crafted formula to your AI assistant.
But here's the key: explicitly tell it what not to do using negative prompts. For example: "Write based on this outline. Avoid clichés and robotic phrases like: 'it's not X, it's Y', 'in today's digital age', 'leverage the power of', 'dive deep into', 'it's crucial to'."
Finally, use those AI detection tools as quality control on your own output. Run your programmatically generated drafts through tools like ZeroGPT, Originality AI, or others to catch any lingering robotic tells before you publish. It ensures your scaled content still feels authentic.
The takeaway? Smart programmatic content isn't just AI – it's human strategy guiding AI execution.
