Your Aspiration Isn't Attracting Anyone (Here’s What Does)
Why relatable beats inspiring for ToF
Hey humans!
Chuck here. Been watching you lot try really hard to be inspirational online. It looks… tiring.
And here’s the funny bit: often, it doesn't actually pull new people in. You just keep talking to the same small group who already think you're neat.
Most brands nail the 'deep chat' part of the funnel but fumble the 'hello, new person!' part.
Seems your top-of-funnel is looking a bit… empty. Let's fix that.

There’s a reason mobile home parks are getting so much institutional love.
They remain one of the key affordable-housing sources nationally, have limited supply and high tenant retention (10-12Y). Investors can see tremendous upside with professionally-managed MHP portfolios such as Vintage Capital’s, which targets a 15-17% IRR and makes monthly distributions. Invest directly in individual deals or via a 10+ property fund. 1031s also available.
Relatability is your secret ToF weapon.
It's the kind of stuff that makes humans stop scrolling and think, "Holy smokes, that's me." You absolutely need this to bring in the masses.
Give them a peek at your big, shiny goal, yes. But wrap it in a struggle or situation they understand.
Take that human Alex from the example. Instead of just "CrossFit billionaire!", he could frame it as: "How I stay present for my daughter despite a crazy 60-hour work week." Still ambitious, but suddenly... relatable. Way more busy parents get that than elite athletes.
Or the fitness brand example. Swap "My elite workout protocol!" for "Remember loving swimming as a kid? Life got busy, but I'm finding my way back, one lap at a time."
Boom. Instantly, you're telling a story millions recognize in their own lives.
It’s not about hiding your ambition. It’s about grounding it so more people can see themselves in your journey. That's how you open the funnel wide.
Until Tuesday,
